Go exploring by car or bike and stop off to the town of Ommen to pass the time together outside a bar or restaurant or visit the local ‘De Pauw’ brewery. Those who love spending time outside in the fresh air will love the traditional Saxon farms, the winding Overijsselse Vecht river, the Vechtalpad trail and the many other walking routes. Huttopia de Roos is the ideal base for exploring the regions of Vecht- en Benedenregge and the ‘Dutch Sahara’ or setting off on the Pieterpad long-distance hiking trail.
